The T-minus 151 RIT workshop 2019-2020 was a contest for a client where the ID students were tasked to design products that could be easily hand-made by the refugee work force from recycled fabric. The students worked in groups with a very short time frame to come up with a product idea, design a prototype, and present the final concept. For my group's product we designed several dog toy products that could be easily made from the bulk recycled clothing. Among our designs was a tough braided dog toy crafted on a loom board system so that the breaded toys were easy to make quickly with little instruction or oversight.
